U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, spoke on the Senate floor on Thursday to outline the path forward on the United States’ relationship with Saudi Arabia following the murder of Washington Post Columnist Jamal Khashoggi. Last week, Florida’s two senators--Democrat Bill Nelson and Republican Marco Rubio--unveiled a proposal giving some Canadians up to eight months to vacation in the U.S., changing the current law which gives them six months. Nelson’s and Rubio’s proposal would let Canadians who are over 50 and either own or rent property in the U.S. the two extra months while adding provisions that they cannot work or take public assistance while here. 

When presidents gather this week in Peru at the Summit of the Americas, they may be tempted to walk past Vice President Mike Pence and make a beeline for another person who has President Donald Trump’s ear on Latin America: Sen. Marco Rubio.

Senator Marco Rubio remains a “undecided,” as he was headed to the White House for a meeting with President Donald Trump. Rubio feels that the time out, might be a good thing, he things taking more time to get all the data possible. When asked what he hoped to see from his White House meeting, Rubio talked about seeing what changes President Trump had in mind, while the senator from Florida had some ideas he wanted to share with the president.
