Hillary Clinton will be in Florida Monday for a fundraiser in Palm Beach and look for the Democratic front-runner to revisit the Sunshine State a number of times before the March 15th primary. There will be a number of campaign offices opening over the next two weeks. At this point we know she will have field offices in Jacksonville, Orlando, Palm Beach, Pompano Beach, Miami, Tallahassee and a yet to be determined Tampa Bay area site.
As we reported yesterday a just released Florida Southern poll shows Hillary Clinton continues to lead big in Florida. The Democrat numbers are 43 percent for Hillary and 26 percent for Bernie Sanders. Sanders has been sitting around 26 percent in the state for months in various polls. Hillary, however, had usually been polling at more than 60 percent in the state.
In head-to-head matchups, Sen. Marco Rubio would best Clinton by 2 percent, while former Gov. Jeb Bush would beat her by 3 percent, but Clinton would smash Donald Trump in the state by 8 percent.
