On August 13, 2014 between 6:29 p.m. and 6:33 p.m., the unknown suspect attached a skimming device on an automated teller machine at the Regions Bank located at 6297 W. Waters Ave.
Evidence located at the scene indicated the suspect attached the skimming equipment to the ATM card reader using green tape and a clear glue like substance.
An unknown male is seen on surveillance video installing a small, thin square silver box to the front underside of the ATM, above the keypad area. The vehicle is a newer model SUV either white or silver in color.
It was left in place and found to contain electronics and a camera to record the customers’ fingers as they entered their PIN on the keypad.
