A woman was struck and wounded after gunshots were fired into a St. Petersburg home early Tuesday, police said.
Two children, ages 2 and 4, were in the home at the time of the shooting but were not hurt, police said.
The woman, who was not identified by police, was recovering at a medical facility, police said.
About 3:50 a.m., police were called to the home on the 1000 block of 13th Avenue South and located the woman inside.
