The Sarasota Police Department is asking the public for assistance in identifying a man seen on surveillance video stealing a home theater system from the K-Mart located at 501 North Beneva Road, Sarasota.
According to police, the man walked into the K-Mart on September 16, 2014 at approximately 6:30 p.m. and took a Nakamichi Sound Bar Home Theater System without paying.
The suspect was last seen wearing a white polo shirt with blue horizontal stripes and a dark colored ball cap. He was last seen getting into a maroon older model (possibly late 80’s – 90’s) 4-door sedan. He was last seen the company of an unknown female.
