At approximately 4:30 a.m., officers responded to 3210 East Ida Street regarding a shooting. There was some type of altercation at the home and the suspect shot the victim. Officers found the victim in the front yard deceased.
The people in the home are currently being interviewed to determine the cause of the altercation. This is not a random act, the victim and the suspect knew each other. Next of kin has not been notified. A Media Alert will follow with the victim’s name after the notification has been made.
