Home prices edged up slightly in the core Orlando area from November to December, but the market showed other signs of softening, according to a report released Monday.
The median price for a house that sold in an area that includes mostly Orange and Seminole counties during November was $155,000, up from $154,000 the previous month. Prices continue to be up more than 20 percent from a year ago, according to a report by Orlando Regional Realtor Association.
Even though prices are up, sales activity was down and the inventory of unsold houses continued to mount for the fourth straight month.
