Reigning Miss Tampa lends stories from friends
“I know several girls that did compete when (Trump) was the owner, and they only had good things to say about him. They never had a bad incident with him.”
Kailyn Perez is the reigning Miss Tampa, as well as a small business owner and a law student interning for the US Attorney’s Office. As a participant in several beauty pageants, she has a history with a business that was once owned by now president Donald Trump. From her point of view, President Trump got “a bad rap” from the press over accusations of walking into the dressing room during the pageant he owned at the time. Chris Ingram of News Talk Florida 820 AM and 98.3 FM Pinellas County interviews Kailyn about her history with pageants, her small business, and what she can say about Donald Trump’s time in the pageant world.
Millennials get a bad rap themselves sometimes. Kailyn Perez is one millennial we can all be proud of. She’s a small business owner of a high-end wedding rental car company, Miss Tampa, and is about to graduate from Stetson law school.
