A key Syria-Turkey border town of could fall to ISIS fighters soon. An Islamic State flag has been seen flying over a building on the eastern edge of Kobani. Extremists now hold the strategic hill above the town.
It’s seen intense fighting over the past three weeks as Syrian Kurds have tried to defend ground. Since then, more than 160-thousand Syrians, mainly Kurds, have fled across the border into Turkey.
