CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (AP) _ Police are searching for a 45-year-old South Florida woman who has been missing since last week.
Maria Claudia Murphy’s black convertible was located Tuesday evening after a tipster notified police the vehicle was in the parking lot of a Pompano Beach shopping center.
The vehicle was towed to the police department for processing.
Murphy went missing Friday after depositing $5,000 at an ATM outside a Bank of America in Coral Springs.
Frank Murphy called police Friday night when his wife didn’t return home.
Coral Springs police detective Chris Collins says Murphy is considered endangered because there is no explanation for her disappearance.
The South Florida Sun Sentinel (http://sunsent.nl/GHCo6F ) reports Murphy’s credit and debit cards have not been used since Friday.
Authorities say the Murphys were about to move to Tennessee.
