An 11 year old boy is at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach after being struck by lightning Tuesday afternoon.
Officials say the boy was fishing on the beach in waist high water when he was struck.
Paramedics did CPR on the unconscious child before transporting him.
The boy is from Georgia and is in Florida with his father.
