PALMETTO, Fla. (AP) — A Florida corrections deputy was killed in a crash while driving home from work.
The Bradenton Herald reports that 28-year-old Shaun Feverston died Thursday morning.
The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office says Feverston was traveling through Palmetto when a pickup truck pulling a trailer turned into the path of Feverston’s Jeep. The Jeep overturned, and Feverston was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver sustained minor injuries. He was cited for violating a right of way.
