Search efforts are currently underway for a missing Asian monocled cobra in Ft. Myers.
The cobra escaped its enclosure in a residence near the Stratton Rd./Kitty Hawk Dr. area.
Florida Fish and Wildlife officials say the snake is approximately five feet in length, with distinctive multi-color markings.
