Giant online retailer Amazon.com, having caused headaches and shrinking bottom lines to brick & mortar stores around the country, will now attempt to take the attack one step further, by opening its first physical retail location in New York City.
According to a Wall Street Journal report, the location would function as a mini-warehouse for same-day delivery in New York, product returns, and pickups of online orders. One other thing…the location for the store according to the report, 7 West 34th Street. Yep, just a block from Macy’s.
