Bondi to share the stage with headliners Cruz and Pence
CLEVELAND – Tonight Tampa’s Pam Bondi will speak early in the evening as he Florida Attorney General will get her chance to speak on national audience. Bondi was the first major Florida politician to endorse Donald Trump.
The two headliners tonight in Cleveland will be Donald Trump’s biggest rival Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and the newly minted Vice Presidential candidate Mike Pence the Gov. of Indiana will speak in the key prime-time slots.
Meanwhile a star was born at last night’s Republican National Convention as Donald Trump, Jr. did an outstanding job of giving the delegates just what they wanted – a strong conservative message. He was a hit, then there was Dr. Ben Carson who was totally off the wall with his comparing Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton as some sort of devil worshiper.
But the night belonged to Trump, Jr. and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie who hit Clinton hard with his mock trial of her at the convention. The former prosecutor went point by point over the many areas that the Republicans charge Clinton with being the problem and the crowd chanted “indict her.”
The public trial was both interesting and disturbing at the same time. On one hand you had Christie surgically attacking Clinton, followed by a frenzied crowd that did not shy away from their dis like for the former first lady.
wasted no time Wednesday continuing his scathing attack on Hillary Clinton hours after he pummeled the former Secretary of State during his remarks at the Quicken Loans Arena last night.
Christie appeared on MSNBC’s morning Joe, pressing his argument that Clinton should be charged for her use of a private email server. Christie will later speak before the host committee for the convention in Cleveland and appear at a Latino Coalition luncheon before day three of the convention, focused on “Making America First Again” begins.
