Tampa Bay Area residents can food shop again
After closing for Hurricane Irma, most of the Tampa Bay area grocery stores will be doing their best to restock today. With some areas without power, some areas still being cleared of the aftermath of the storm there will be challenges to get food stores opened.
But depending on where you live the chances are good, you get much-needed food and pet supplies. There may be a problem getting water as that is the one thing that stores are working to get more to their stores over the next few days.
As of Monday as one might expect due to Hurricane Irma clean up most Publix, Winn Dixie and Wallmart grocery stores were closed. That was the case in Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater and most of the area.
Stores, however, today are expected to open for business throughout the area. All three major grocery chains expect to have stores open for business, not all stores, but some will be operating.
