Ardian Zika (R) who serves in the Florida House of Representatives for District 37 in Pasco County and Land O’ Lakes is not pleased with the mess that is Highway 41 the main north-south road through the county. Yesterday the Freshman Representative took to Twitter to show his frustration with those who simply aren’t paying attention to its lack of repair.
He wants the Florida Department of Transportation to fix the problems of one of this country’s most iconic highways that has been around since 1926. U.S. Route 41, also known as U.S. Highway 41 (US 41), the major north-south route that runs from Miami, Florida to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
The highway goes through the states of Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan. The highway starts in Miami and travels through some of this nation’s most famous cities, Tampa, Macon, Atlanta, Chattanooga, Nashville, Chicago, and Milwaukee or about 2010 miles.
Zika wants the road fixed and the fact that this national highway is a local road in Pasco County and he wants to see the Florida Department of Transportation to handle the disrepair that causes traffic issues and traffic jams.
