Moody running to replace Pam Bondi
Because Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi is term-limited, there will be a new attorney general in Florida come January. Hillsborough County Judge Ashley Moody is making her bid to be the next in line and even has Bondi’s endorsement. Judge Moody joined the Chris Ingram Program to discuss her career and her bid for attorney general.
To this point, Moody is the only candidate in the running who has actually prosecuted a case, which she suggests is the biggest–but not the only–reason she is the best candidate for the job. Chris talks to Judge Moody about her background in and trust in law enforcement, as well as how leadership can better coordinate Florida’s law enforcement agencies to make a bigger difference.
