For those of you who own connected devices, you like ROKU, Amazon Fire Stick or Apple TV just go to the channel or app store and get it for free. I have it on both my ROKU and Amazon Fire Stick devices as well as it is part of my CBS All Access subscription.
As you might expect with CBS being the home for Super Bowl LIII the team at CBS Sports is getting ready for a major introduction to those who have not yet discovered this outstanding sports app.
For this week’s edition of Stream On with Jim Williams, my guest is Jeff Gerttula, EVP & GM of CBS Sports Digital. He is the man behind this ambitious and strong new platform.
Gerttula on his team’s goals this weekend “We are excited about being here in Atlanta and our goal is to introduce ourselves to the real sports fans. This could be the biggest streaming audience of all time. There is no doubt people would kill to get this audience and our plans to show people why they should be making CBS Sports HQ their new sports home.”
Gerttula about having the backing of the entire CBS network behind his Sports HQ platform. “There is no doubt when you have such a historic brand as CBS sports behind you that is all you can ask for. We also have had help from the news division where CBSN has proved that you can be a success as a streaming service.”
