WWBA 820 AM Plus WHBO 1040 AM News and Sports Talk Florida is the EXCLUSIVE Bay Area Home for SB LIII

Genesis Communications will air the NFL Super Bowl, February 3rd on both of its AM radio stations and its FM station. The company has been the home of the NFL’s premier broadcast as part of Westwood One for 6 years. “This is the biggest event in sports and it merits a broadcast on each of our stations covering news and sports.” Said Steve Kyler, Director of Content for the company.

Bay Area football fans can hear the broadcast of Super Bowl LII on  both AM 820 News, FM 98.3 in Pinellas (home of Bubba The Love Sponge) has one of the largest signals in the state, covering the entire west coast and Sports Talk AM 1040 The Team (home of Rock Riley) is the bay area’s CBS Sports affiliate.

The game broadcast is a production of Westwood One with coverage starting at 2:00 pm ET, with “Super Bowl Preview,” co-hosted by Scott Graham and Kurt Warner, followed by “Super Bowl Insider,” co-hosted by Scott Graham, Tony Boselli, and Ian Rapoport at 3:00 pm ET. At 4:00 pm ET, live coverage from the stadium kicks off with “Super Sunday,” the Super Bowl LIII pregame show, hosted by Scott Graham. The Super Bowl game broadcast begins at 5:00 PM ET, with kickoff anticipated to be approximately 6:35 pm ET.

Kevin Harlan will handle the play-by-play duties for the Super Bowl for the ninth straight year, with Super Bowl XXXIV MVP and Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner making his debut as the color analyst. Super Bowl XXXI winning coach Mike Holmgren will also contribute throughout the game broadcast, his fourth year as a member of the broadcast crew. Former All-Pro Offensive Lineman Tony Boselli returns for a third straight year as sideline reporter, and will be joined on the field for the second consecutive year by Hall of Fame reporter Ed Werder. Jim Gray will anchor the pregame and halftime coverage, with appearances by Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. This is Jim Gray’s 18th Super Bowl for Westwood One. Scott Graham will return for his 10th straight Super Bowl and will also contribute to the pregame show coverage.

Major events include three Olympic Games, two World Cups, two World Series, six NBA Playoffs, four Stanley Cup Playoffs, four NCAA Men’s National Basketball Championship Tournaments (March Madness), two Super Bowl and over a dozen college bowl games. On the entertainment side Williams was involved s and directed over 500 concerts for Showtime, Pay Per View and MTV Networks.
