The Simpsons killed off a character during the season premiere Sunday night and people weren’t happy, as you can imagine.
For months, FOX has teased the upcoming season premiere titled “Clown in the Dumps,” which led to several fans thinking Crusty the Clown would be killed off. But alas, it was Rabbi Hyman Krustofski, the father of the clown.
Producer Al Jean has tried time and time again to calm the expectations saying “Suddenly it became this huge guessing game.”
Even so, the internet was abuzz and wasn’t happy. (shocking)
Rabbi Krustovsky (Krusty the Clown's dad) died. He was one of my guesses. Now it happened. I'm underwhelmed. #TheSimpsons
