After months of talk, it is fight night in Las Vegas Mayweather vs. Mcgregor.
After what seems like a year of hype and promotion tonight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas will be packed to see the super-fight between one of the greatest boxers of his generation Florida’s own Floyd Mayweather and the best UFC fighter on the planet Conor McGregor.
According to betting experts worldwide are now projecting Mayweather-McGregor to actually bring in more cash than the Super Bowl.
“We knew this fight would be big, potentially even bigger than the Super Bowl, but now we are almost certain it will be,” Kevin Bradley, the sports book manager of Bovada, told Yahoo Sports.
“The recent trash talking and promotional tour are only encouraging bets and at this rate, we cannot even imagine how much we will take on it.”

Things get underway tonight at 9 p.m. ET live on Showtime PPV with the undercard. In addition to the primary attraction, there are three major fights on the undercard. Mayweather has his young favorite fighter Gervonta “Tank” Davis who will face Francisco Fonseca in the IBF junior lightweight title match.
According to OddsShark, Davis is a huge -3500 favorite, while Fonseca is a +1200 underdog. They will face each other in the opening fight of the night.
The second fight of the night is for the WBA light heavyweight championship. The battle pits Nathan Cleverly against WBC super-middleweight champion Badou Jack. Cleverly is a +325 underdog, while Jack is a -450 favorite. Even though Jack regularly fights at a lower weight, he has shown the ability to impress the judges and come with the decision in most of his fights.
The third fight that is on the pay-per-view card involves Andrew Tabiti and Steve Cunningham battling for the vacant cruiserweight title. Tabiti is a -275 favorite over the 41-year-old Cunningham, who comes into the bout with odds of +215.
UFC President Dana White expects that tonight’s fight will set pay per view records. The non-heavyweight pay-per-view record of 4.6 million buys ($437 million in revenue), set by the 2015 fight between Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.
White expects that the fight will attract over 4.9 to 5 million buys making it the biggest pay-per-view fight in history. At a press gathering on Tuesday, Mayweather said that he thinks he’ll make $350, while McGregor expects to cash in at nearly $200
