Amazon Hints At Digital Sale On December 30th
It’s not Black Friday and it’s not Prime Day, but Amazon is planning to offer bargains on various digital content on its first-ever Amazon Digital Day on December 30th.
The sale will take place for 24 hours and will include TV shows, apps, games, movies, music, and much more. The retailer is teasing up to 80 percent discounts on video games, 50 percent off on movies and television shows, and 75 percent off on digital comics.
The retailer is targeting those that received tech gifts over the Christmas holidays.
In the teaser Amazon has revealed a portion of the game titles and software that’s to be included in the sale. Names such as Rocket League, Titanfall 2, Destiny: Rise of Iron, magazine reader Texture, Microsoft Office Home & Business 2016, and Amazon’s own music service.
The Digital Day ad hasn’t specified if its $99 Prime membership will be available at a discounted rate during the promotion. During a one-day sale in November the company cut the price of its subscription service to $79 to promote the launch of its original TV series The Grand Tour.
Even though the Digital Day doesn’t start until December 30th, the giant online retail company has begun to offer discounts leading up to this event. Of course the company has seen success when creating its own shopping holidays. The company said in July its second annual Prime Day was the biggest sales day ever.
Amazon Digital Day is the deal event for your devices. For one day only, get up to 50% off over a thousand TV shows, movies, music, apps, mobile games, eBooks and more. The savings start on Friday, December 30. Whether you’re gifting or receiving gadgets this year, this 24-hour sale is one of the best times of the year to shop for must-have digital content.
