Domonic Biggi Talks Beaverton Foods Inc.

Missed part of the show? Here’s Food Talk with Kim Bailey from Saturday, August 29, 2015.

Kim spoke with Ted Dorsey, CEO of the new restaurant The Mill in St. Pete, which has only been open about a month. Click here for a Tampa Bay Times review of The Mill.

We also talked with Domonic Biggi, CEO of Beaverton Foods Inc. about his company’s Gourmet Ketchup and more.

Since 1929, the privately held company has thrived by following wholesome business practices set in place by Founder Rose Biggi (pronounced Bee Gee).
What started in Rose’s Beaverton, Oregon farmhouse basement, grinding and bottling homegrown horseradish roots, has now grown to a family owned, multimillion dollar corporation with more than 150 specialty condiments sold in grocery stores, restaurants, and gourmet shops throughout the US and in 12 foreign countries. Today, Rose’s grandson Domonic Biggi serves as company CEO, who manages 70 employees at the 70,000-square-foot headquarters in Hillsboro, Oregon. Gene Biggi serves as company Chairman and is actively involved in new product development. Representing the fourth generation of Biggis, Gene’s grandson Jeffrey manages foodservice sales.
